Works in Progress
Lately, my studio (which is also my home at the moment) has been filled with ideas, sketches, and works in progress, and I couldn't be more excited about it. My wife, on the other hand, keeps looking around and saying, "What a mess!"
I'm currently developing several new pieces, all connected by my love for magical realism, yet each one explores different techniques, materials, and visual languages. I enjoy allowing every artwork to find its own voice, and this new group of works is taking me down some very interesting paths.
Some of these pieces are being created with upcoming competitions and exhibitions in mind, while others are simply the result of curiosity and the desire to keep exploring.
For me, the creative process is just as meaningful as the finished artwork, and the past few weeks have been full of discovery, experimentation, and unexpected inspiration.
I look forward to sharing these works as they evolve. Until then, I'm grateful to be on this journey, continuing to learn, create, and bring new stories to life through art.
