"Joven Tehuelche (Aborigen Argentina)" - This piece portrays a young Tehuelche woman from southern Patagonia, Argentina. The Tehuelche are one of the Indigenous peoples who inhabited this region and were later driven from their lands by incursions from Chile’s Mapuche groups, suffering persecution and the loss of many lives.

Figurative art. Portrait of a young Tehuelche woman from the southern Patagonia region of Argentina. Through her, I wanted to share a part of my country’s history and honor the people who inhabited this land.
Oil on canvas.
Affordable art.
"Joven Tehuelche"

Through this portrait, I wanted to shed light on a lesser-known part of Argentina’s history and honor the people who lived on this land. I submitted the piece to the Artera art competition in the hope of sharing their story with a wider audience.

Wish me luck! 🤞🎨

After the competition, depending on the results, this piece will be available for purchase.

Medium: Oil on canvas

Size: 22 × 22 cm
